IQST Visit and Colloquium @ KIT
KIT is pleased to welcome the IQST community for the next IQST Visit and Colloquium. The programme offers the opportunity to explore the quantum research activities of IQST's newest partner institution through laboratory visits, scientific talks, and networking.
Participants are welcome to register for either the Visit, the Colloquium, or both parts of the programme.
Date: 28 July 2026
Location: Lehmann Lecture Hall, Engesserstr. 7, 76131 Karlsruhe

Laboratory Tours Info
The laboratory visits are limited to approximately 50 participants. Participants will be divided into smaller groups and will have the opportunity to visit all four participating research groups during the two laboratory tour sessions:
Group 1: Wernsdorfer Lab: Molecular spin qubits & mK cryogenics
Group 2: Ustinov Lab: Superconducting quantum circuits
Group 3: Willke Lab: Single atom spin control via STM
Group 4: Pop Group: Black Forest Quantum
Group 5: Hunger Group: Spin-photon interfaces
Registration for the lab tours closes on 24 July 2026 at 12:00.
The colloquium remains open to all interested participants; registration is recommended but not required.
