We kindly invite you to register for the PROCLIAS/ISIMIP water quality workshop from 28 to 29 August 2023. We are planning a physical meeting at Wageningen University in Wageningen (The Netherlands) with the possibility of remote participation in sessions where technically appropriate.
The workshop will include sessions on the following main topics:
- Finalization of the water quality protocol
- Data and (large-scale) water quality simulations
- Integration of water quality into cross-sectoral assessments
- Discussion on fundraising opportunities
- Next steps for a paper-writing workshop in 2024
Within each topic, there will be a short presentation followed by an interactive discussion.
Please register  here until 30 June 2023.
Registration:
- registration opening: from now on
- registration closure: 7 July 2023
- registration at: click here
The workshop will be two half days:
- Day 1: 28 August 13.00-18.00
- Day 2: 29 August 9.00-14.00
Workshop format and financial support:
You are free to choose virtual participation via Microsoft Teams or physical participation. Physical participation is limited to a number of 30-35 people while there is no limit to online participation. The priority for physical participation will be given to water quality modelers who would like to be actively involved in the ISIMIP water quality sector and consider providing (large-scale) water quality simulation results.
In case you need financial support to attend the workshop, there is the possibility to apply for funding through the COST Action PROCLIAS following the COST rules. We have the budget to reimburse travel and daily living expenses for up to 20 people (depending on the travel distances of people from outside the Netherlands). The exact amount of reimbursement and information about the reimbursement procedure will be communicated at a later stage.
