Expand your international business skills in an intercultural environment!
The Stuttgart Business School at HFT Stuttgart invites international students currently studying at HFT Stuttgart to participate in the Intercultural Business Summer School “Leading Across Cultures” from July 13th – July 24th 2026.
The Summer School focuses on leadership, intercultural collaboration, and international business skills – competencies that are becoming increasingly important in today’s global working environment.
Through a combination of academic sessions, interactive workshops, company visits, and cultural activities, participants will gain practical insights into international business and strengthen their intercultural communication and teamwork skills.
During the two-week programme, participants will take part in the different academic modules, company visits, as well as cultural and networking activities taking place throughout the Summer School period. Some programme dates can already be found below. Further information and a detailed programme schedule will be shared with all participants at the end of June.
Participants who successfully complete the Summer School will receive 2CP.
Target Group:
The Summer School is open to:
- International exchange students currently studying at HFT Stuttgart
- International degree seeking students at HFT Stuttgart
- Bachelor’s and Master’s students with an interest in business, management, leadership, and intercultural collaboration
The programme will be conducted entirely in English. Participants should therefore have a minimum English level of B2.
Programme & Courses
The Summer School combines academic learning with practical experience and intercultural exchange.
Leadership Module (July 21st - July 23rd)
- Introduction to leadership concepts in international business
- Interactive exercises and case studies
- Leadership in intercultural and global contexts
Intercultural Business Skills Module (July 15th - July 17th)
- Development of intercultural competencies
- Practical exercises, simulations, and group discussions
- Communication and collaboration in international teams
