LiMa Networking Event: Inspire. Teach. Collaborate.
Project LiMa is now starting into its final year. We are looking back on three years filled with fruitful collaboration through joint lecture series, guest and collaborative teaching, amazing personal visits, many digital meetups, student exchange, and the Summer School “Teaching for Sustainable Development”.
We are currently planning a digital networking event open to colleagues from all of our partner universities, to which we would like to warmly invite you. First, we will reflect on past joint activities, explore funding possibilities, discuss a good practice example and get to know tools for collaboration. During the second half of the event, LiMa will create a networking space for you to discuss your own ideas and plan collaborations.
We would be very grateful if you could mark Friday, May 24th, 2024 in your calendar. The event will take place from 2 pm to 6 pm (UTC+2) and will include a short break in between sessions.
(Portugal: 1-5 pm, Romania: 3-7 pm)
With this Call for Participation, we also invite you to actively shape our network meeting and inspire future teaching collaborations among our partners. To submit a proposal, please include a short description (300 words) of an idea you have for a teaching collaboration. The description should include your desired topic, a potential teaching format, desired language and two ideas of how your colleagues and their students could collaborate. Project proposals can be submitted with your registration via Eveeno.
After the registration deadline, we will select project proposals, which you will then present as five minute pitches during the networking session. You will then have the chance to discuss these pitches with colleagues, get feedback and form new collaborations.
The deadline for registration and the submission of proposals is May 6, 2024.
Please forward the invitation to any colleagues who might be interested in attending.
