About the Workshop

How could visual inspection, tactile sensing and robotic rework be combined to improve manufacturing quality processes?

This focused online workshop, organized by the project MAGICIAN and with the support of EDIH-AICS, showcases three capabilities through practical demonstrations on automotive car-body components:

  • Visual defect detection and classification
  • Tactile defect detection and classification
  • Robotic defect reworking and removal

Each technology will be introduced with a short technical overview and a dedicated demonstration video, highlighting its functionality, validation status and industrial relevance.

While vehicle manufacturing serves as the reference application, the showcased technologies may also be relevant to other sectors facing inspection, quality control and surface rework challenges.
