Seit dem 24. Februar 2022 leben Ukrainer:innen in einer anderen Welt. Jede:r in der Ukraine hat seine eigene Geschichte im Umgang mit der russischen Aggression.
Sie ist eingebettet in das gemeinsame Bild eines kollektiven Traumas. Solange sich das Land im Kriegszustand befindet, ist es wichtig, zu beobachten und zu lernen, was in der Ukraine geschieht.
In der Ausstellung »The Art of Coping with War« präsentieren fünf Fotograf:innen fünf persönliche Reaktionen auf den Krieg. Jede:r Künstler:in verarbeitet ein traumatisches Erlebnis und schafft mit einer nuancierten emotionalen Bandbreite ein künstlerisches Bild des Krieges. Es sind Beobachtungen des Krieges von innen.​​​​​​​

Since 24 February 2022, Ukrainians have been living in a different world. Everyone in Ukraine has their own story of dealing with the Russian aggression. It is embedded in the common image of a collective trauma. As long as the country is in a state of war, it is important to observe and learn what is happening in Ukraine.
In the exhibition "The Art of Coping with War", five photographers present five personal reactions to the war. Each artist processes a traumatic experience and creates an artistic image of the war with a nuanced emotional range. They are observations of war from the inside.​​​​​​​
Please note that photographs will be taken at the opening. We will use the photographs for our public relations work. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know at the entrance.
