Welcome to the registration for the

REMIND and MAgPIE26 workshop & stories

in Potsdam from 16^th to 19^th June 2026.

This year our workshop & stories event will happen as a combined REMIND-MAgPIE workshop over 4 days in mid-June 2026. It will take place in a hybrid format, hosted on the Telegrafenberg at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research for on-site participants, while online participants will join via Zoom. During the first 3 days of the event, we will have an introduction workshop for the REMIND and MAgPIE models, the MADRaT data processing framework, and deep dives into the models. Additionally, current users and developers of the models will present their most recent work in two REMIND & MAgPIE stories sessions. Day 4 will then focus on the REMIND-MAgPIE model coupling.

Please carefully choose your preferred registration option. As this decision is linked to a payment, we wish to avoid subsequent changes, as they cause a major administrative burden.

A cancellation of participation free of charge is possible until 19^th May 2026. The paid fee will be refunded until then. After this date, fees already paid will not be refunded.

PARTICIPATION USING THE TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM ZOOM

The conference will be executed based on the teleconferencing system Zoom provided by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. ("Zoom"), 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113. We will not record speakers and participant discussions.  If you participate in discussions, you and your contributions to the discussion by audio, video and/or chat will be a part of the conference session and will be streamed using the Zoom infrastructure and might be transferred to the USA or other Zoom computing centers in the world. At the same time, to ensure compliance with EU data protection law, we kindly ask you to not film, take photos, record or further publish any material of the conference and the following discussion. Also please do not forward the Zoom link to third parties. Your participation in these Zoom sessions is not required by law or contract. If you do not provide us with your personal data for the purpose of these meetings, you cannot participate in the conference.  If your personal data are processed, then you are a data subject within the meaning of the EU-GDPR and you shall have rights vis-à-vis the Controller.

RECORDINGS OF PRESENTATIONS:

I hereby agree that the audio and video recordings made of me during the event, can be saved for the following purpose:

1. Use for compiling a short conference video and photographs for documentation purposes for funding parties. The data will be stored on the access-limited platform Nextcloud. After having been processed (approx. 4 weeks), the original recordings are deleted and are then no longer available anywhere.
   

I do not derive any rights (e.g. remuneration) from the consent to publication. This declaration of consent can be revoked by contacting the event organization team at any time with effect for the future. In case of revocation, the recordings will be removed from the respective platform.

      2. A promotional video and pictures may be published on the conference website or/and on the project websites (MAgPIE, REMIND).

I do not derive any rights (e.g. remuneration) from the consent to publication. This declaration of consent can be revoked by contacting the event organization team at any time with effect for the future. In case of revocation, the recordings will be removed from the respective platform.
