Research data management workshop for life sciences
High Throughput Technology with a focus on next-generation-sequencing and mass spectrometry
Motivation
As part of a great vision, The Quantitative Biology Center(QBiC) offers services to enable FAIR data management and simplify collaboration on multi-omics projects including bioimages.
Goals
The aim of this workshop is to empower researchers in the life sciences to manage and share their digital data assets with the help our newly released research data management web platform.
Aquired skills
Successfull participation in this workshop enables the participants to annotate their data with support of ontologies.
Participants will learn how to register projects, experiments, sample batches, measurements and raw data, as well as managing access to their projects to collaborate with others.
The focus on this workshop lies on NGS and proteomics, later workshops will cover metabolomics and bioimages.
