Terms and Conditions of Participation
By registering for the workshop, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation and Liability
Participation in the workshop is voluntary and at my own risk. I am responsible for my own health, safety, personal belongings, travel arrangements, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the event.
The organizers, participating universities and institutions, the Goethe-Institut, and their employees or representatives shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage to personal property, personal injury, accident, delay, or other claims arising from or related to participation in the workshop, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, including cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
2. Photography and Video Recording
I understand that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be taken during the workshop for documentation, reporting, promotional, and non-commercial communication purposes by the organizers and participating institutions.
By participating in the workshop, I consent to the use of such recordings in print and digital media, including websites, newsletters, reports, presentations, and social media channels. If I do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, I will inform the organizers upon arrival so that reasonable efforts can be made to accommodate my request.
3. Data Protection
I understand that the personal data provided during registration will be processed solely for the purpose of organizing and administering the workshop, communicating with participants, and fulfilling legal and administrative obligations. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
4. Programme Changes
The organizers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Such changes shall not give rise to any claim for compensation.
