The WHY Behind Your Research: Creating Meaningful and Lasting Impact

Discover how to uncover the deeper purpose of your research and communicate its potential for societal and environmental impact. This workshop is designed for researchers who want to explore the broader applications of their work and develop impactful use cases.

This workshop, co-organized by KOALA, 6GEMcubator and RWTH Innovation, is led by Sarah Schulz and Tobias Recker, certified instructors of the Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES) initiative by Falling Walls.​​​​​​

 Participants will:

• Reflect on the "WHY" behind their research
• Assess the potential of their own research topic
• Identify interest groups and stakeholder needs
• Learn about the Golden Circle and the concepts of purpose and impact
• Develop or expand promising use cases based on their research
