What are the levers in Kiel for making mobility more sustainable? Which factors play a role in the topic of the social city in Kiel? What untapped potential is there for actively shaping climate protection in Kiel?

The Kiel School of Sustainability at the CAU and the municipality of Kiel are jointly conducting a series of events on central topics of sustainable development in Kiel. The goal is to show students of the School of Sustainability the complexity of sustainable development using city-specific examples and to jointly identify starting points for future-oriented change. The event series is intended to serve as an inspiration and starting point for participants to design their own research projects and social enterprises for the region. Topics of the event series are Creative City, Social Issues and Education, Climate Protection and Mobility, as well as Zero Waste.

In the opening session we will meet at Ratssaal and get to know different employees of the municipality and their topics and projects within the sustainable development in Kiel.
