SDL Workshop

How are robotics, automation and artificial intelligence transforming scientific research? This question will be explored at the SDL Workshop on November 25, 2026, at TU Darmstadt. Participants from academia and industry will discuss current developments in Self-Driving Laboratories (SDLs), automated experimental systems and digital research infrastructures.

The programme covers laboratory automation, autonomous experimentation and data-driven research. The workshop provides a forum for scientific exchange and networking between academia, industry and policy, with a focus on the opportunities and challenges of increasingly automated research environments.
