South America at Sea: Maritime Security Challenges and Strategic Responses
It has been a year since the book “Maritime Strategy and Security in South America. Regional Effects and Global Impacts” was published by Nomos. We want to use this occasion to come together for an online event and talk about the key findings of the book and especially the changes and developments since its publication.
Speakers include the authors Andrea Luiza Fontes Resende de Souza & Wilder Alejandro Sanchez. The event will be moderated by the publishers Anne Runhaar & Henrik Schilling from the Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University.

The online event will take place on October 13 at 1900 CEST via Zoom.
It will consist of three short presentations by three of our authors and a moderated discussion/Q&A afterwards.
