Join us for the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem (RIE) Conference 2025 on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 08:30 to 4:00 (CET) in Erlangen (Siemens Auditorium, Siemenspromenade 10, 91058 Erlangen)!

Dive into this year's topic Technology drives Sustainability and gain valuable insights from both university and industrial perspectives. Key representatives, including FAU President Prof. Joachim Hornegger and Siemens AG CEO Dr. Roland Busch, along with many others, will explore how technologies enable and advance sustainability through decarbonization, life cycle assessment, sustainable software engineering, circularity, and collaborative efforts!

In the afternoon, participants are invited to join interactive working sessions focusing on four key topics. Each session will explore practical challenges and encourage collaboration through group discussions and ideation activities. Please select the session you would like to join when registering.

Decarbonization of sites, factories, and buildings – transforming energy, water, and process industries towards resilience and cost-optimization through digitalization.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) - Driving sustainability in the supply chain by implementing Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
Sustainable Software: Exploring software design towards energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Circularity: Enabling Circular Business: Tech & Innovation in Federated Data Spaces.
