The school focuses on recent developments in the challenging field of Experimental Pragmatics. It deals with long-standing issues in pragmatic theory and relevant interfaces alongside new, experimental ways of addressing research questions in the field.

The DGfS Summer School 2019 is organized by the Priority Programme 1727 "XPrag.de: New Pragmatic Theories based on Experimental Evidence (SPP 1727)" and hosted by the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) Berlin.

We have organized several events. For two you need to purchase tickets if you would like to attend. For the others we kindly ask you to indicate your interest for a better planning. Detailed information can be found on the page "Social events".

Child care on site

During the classes as well as social events and plenary talks we will provide child care on site. Please indicate your need and provide details about your children for us to organize appropriate care takers.
