Personal data, film and photo recordings

All personal data provided by you will be processed exclusively for purposes directly related to the event and stored for no longer than the processing period. After processing, the data will be irretrievably deleted. The copy of the list of participants will be stored locally at the Institute for Systems Theory and Control (IST) and deleted four weeks after the end of the event.

Photographs and videos will be taken during the event for documentation purposes. These serve the purpose of reporting on the event as well as the public relations work of the University of Stuttgart on websites, in social media channels and in print publications of the University of Stuttgart.

The following recordings may be made and used during the event:

Recordings that reflect the character of the event (overview recordings). The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 3 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with Section 12 para. 1 of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act. For other recordings, the person making the recordings will ask you for your consent; the basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In the event that consent is not given for these recordings or consent is withdrawn, there will be no disadvantages.
