Tractus-X Accelerator Kick Off

On September 1, 2026, the implementation phase of the Tractus-X Accelerator officially began. The kick-off event on September 23, 2026, in Berlin marks the project's official launch and brings together the consortium, participating partners, and interested parties for the first time.

The Tractus-X Accelerator is a three-year project funded by the BMWE. ARENA2036, Catena-X Automotive Network, Fraunhofer ISST, and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) are combining their expertise to sustainably strengthen Eclipse Tractus-X as the technological foundation for industrial data spaces and to further advance its international development.

The goal of the project is to develop Tractus-X into a cross-domain, international open-source environment with long-term secured funding. The scope encompasses both the data spaces themselves and the services and applications built upon them.

The kick-off aims to network the participating organizations and individuals, align on core content priorities, and prepare the next steps. Practical insights, ideas, and suggestions regarding relevant organizations, initiatives, and individuals are expressly welcome.

Tractus-X Accelerator Kick Off

Am 1. September 2026 ist der Tractus-X Accelerator in die Umsetzung gestartet. Der Kickoff am 23. September 2026 in Berlin markiert den offiziellen Auftakt des Projekts und bringt das Konsortium mit den beteiligten Partnern und Interessierten erstmals zusammen.

Der Tractus-X Accelerator ist ein auf drei Jahre angelegtes vom BMWE gefördertes Projekt. ARENA2036, Catena-X Automotive Network, Fraunhofer ISST und die International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) bündeln darin ihre Kompetenzen, um Eclipse Tractus-X als technologische Basis industrieller Datenräume nachhaltig zu stärken und international weiterzuentwickeln.

Ziel des Projekts ist es, Tractus-X zu einer domänenübergreifenden und internationalen Open-Source-Umgebung zu entwickeln, dessen Finanzierung nachhaltig gesichert ist. In den Blick genommen werden dabei sowohl die Datenräume selbst als auch die darauf aufbauenden Dienste und Anwendungen.

Beim Kickoff geht es darum, die beteiligten Organisationen und Personen zu vernetzen, inhaltliche Schwerpunkte gemeinsam abzustimmen und die nächsten Schritte vorzubereiten. Praxiserfahrungen, Ideen und Hinweise auf relevante Organisationen, Initiativen und Personen sind ausdrücklich willkommen.
