What makes us human? - The Symposium

The Symposium of #class24 will take place on Thursday, 5 June 2025 from 16:45 until 22:00 in the Audimax.  

For the past 20 months, the scholarship holders of #class24 have been working on five exciting research projects, which they will proudly present to you at the Symposium. Afterwards, you have the chance to listen to fascinating science talks on the topic “What makes us human?”, delivered by professionals from all over the academic & industrial world. Furthermore, you can explore the interactive booths hosted by the project teams of #class24 and #class25, various student organisations, and the partners of TUM: Junge Akademie. At the end of an interesting evening, you can enjoy a unique science-comedy performance that brings research to life. 

I with this consent agree that personal data may be processed to create an attendance list for the Symposium of the TUM: Junge Akademie on June 5, 2025. The data will be deleted within 3 months after the Symposium. I have been informed that the processing of personal data is executed in accordance with the European Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO) and the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG). I can revoke my consent. In the case of revocation, my data will be deleted immediately upon receipt of the declaration of revocation.

Notice on a List of Participants: I agree that my name may be published in a list of participants in order to check the registrations of guests on the evening of the symposium.

Notice on Photo- and Video Recordings: We hereby notify all participants that during this event,  photo- and video recordings will be made, which will be published in printed form and/or online (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Websites) by TUM: Junge Akademie and our partner companies. 

If you, as a guest of the TUMJA Symposium 2025, do not agree to be filmed or photographed, please contact the organizational team. We will remove the material you are recognizable in at your request.
