​​​​​​​We are excited to invite you to Wantok Bung 2025, a special event coinciding with the 50th Independence Anniversary of Papua New Guinea from 19th to 21st September 2025, at the picturesque Camping Site - Hofgut Hopfenburg, Münsingen in Baden Württemberg.
The program on Saturday, 20th will include among others; food preparation, various fun activities, performances and socializing and connecting with other wantoks.
A fee of €25,00 (adults) and €15 (students) will be collected during the event by the Orga team to cover costs incurred (catering, logistics and related expenses). Children below 18 yrs will not be charged any fees.
Accommodation:
Safari Tents: 5 Safari tents have been reserved/set aside by Hofgut Hopfenburg for our event. Please book early to secure your spot. The safari tents encircle a barbecue pavilion (round haus kuk) with a breathtaking view over Münsingen. This would be our main program arena.
Tent Specifications: rustic rooms, barrier-free and cozy, two bedrooms and a living room. Wooden floor, small "kitchen" equipped with dishes and cutlery for 5 people, Kettle, 2-burner stove, 3 single beds (80 x 200 cm), 1 bunk bed.
Cost: Safari Tent (incl. parking €1.50/night) costs €103.00/night. ​​​​​​​ So for the 2 nights (19.09.2025 - 21.09.2025) Total amount =€206.00 You can stay longer of course.

Hotels/Guesthouses in Münsingen: There is also the option to book your accomodation off the campsite and attend the event. As day visitor(s), you will be required to check in at the campsite reception and pay a small day visitor fee.
