In seiner aufwendig produzierten Doku-Serie zeigt er, was Europas Natur zu bieten hat – in atemberaubenden Zeitraffer- und Hochglanzaufnahmen, eingefangen mit versteckten Kameras: Blauwale vor den Azoren, begleitet von surfenden Delfinen, tapsige Braunbärenbabys im Kaukasus, Rotfüchse in Londons Seitenstraßen und sogar Stechmücken in den Schächten der U-Bahn.
Gekonnt erzählt von Schauspieler Benno Fürmann, offenbart die Serie überraschende Einblicke in die Vielfalt der europäischen Tierwelt – mal spektakulär, mal ganz nah am Alltäglichen. SILBERSALZ zeigt exklusiv die erste Episode der fünfteiligen Reihe.

“Europe’s wildlife can stand comparison with any in the world,” says nature filmmaker Christian Baumeister. In his lavishly produced documentary series, he showcases the richness of Europe’s nature—through breathtaking timelapse sequences and high-definition footage captured with hidden cameras: blue whales off the Azores accompanied by surfing dolphins, clumsy brown bear cubs in the Caucasus, red foxes in the backstreets of London, and even mosquitoes lurking in the tunnels of the underground.
Narrated with warmth and skill by actor Benno Fürmann, the series offers surprising insights into the diversity of Europe’s wildlife—sometimes spectacular, sometimes close to the everyday. At SILBERSALZ, audiences will see an exclusive preview of the first episode of this five-part series.
