In addition to road traffic, there is also significant potential for electrification in other mobility sectors: mobile machinery and equipment such as construction and agricultural machinery, two-wheelers, and recreational boats account for about 3 percent of the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions. This is roughly equivalent to civil aviation. On behalf of the Federal Environment Agency (UBA), the eNRMM project examined the technical and environmental potential as well as policy recommendations for these sectors. The project has been completed and the study has been published here: https://www.umweltbundesamt.de/en/publikationen/enrmm
