Course Description
This workshop is designed for doctoral researchers who wish to enhance the visibility of their academic work. The central focus is: How can I permanently and clearly connect my name with my research output in a visible and reliable way?
Practical examples will be used to showcase important researcher profiles and author identifiers such as ORCID, Scopus Author ID, Web of Science Researcher Profile, and Google Scholar. Participants will learn how to effectively use and maintain these services, taking into account institutional requirements such as the RUB publication guidelines. Particular attention is given to how researcher profiles interact with bibliographic databases, and how proper maintenance of these profiles can enhance the visibility, traceability, and citability of one's research.
