Presentations – Posters – Exhibition – Get-together

Single-cell analysis with a focus on bioprocesses offers great potential for a better understanding of interactions between cells and their environment. Therefore, we want to discuss recent trends in process analytical tools, image recognition, data science, and integration into processes in a noon-to-noon two-day event.

Focus talks by Hyun-Dong Chang (DRFZ Berlin), Anna-Lena Heins (TU Hamburg), and Jean-Baptiste Lugagne (Oxford University)

Topics

Technology - Single-cell analysis on -omics and morphology level

Methodology - Potential of single-cell analysis for bioprocess monitoring and control

Integration - Relevance of co-cultivation and population heterogeneity in microbial cultures

Application - Practical tools and workflows for single-cell analysis: status and applicability of hardware in microbial cultures, in silico methods for the rapid and reliable analysis, and transferability from cell line to microbial bioprocesses
