Europe is facing a new generation of attacks on its cohesion and democratic foundations, ranging from cyber operations and disinformation to geopolitical pressure and war. These challenges test the continent’s ability to remain united, open and resilient.

In their new book, a bold vision for renewing Europe's promise of peace and prosperity is offered by Francesca and Gerald Knaus. Drawing lessons from history and today's democratic heroes, they demonstrate how ideas can inspire politics that garner majority support for a Europe without wars.
