Goals:
The goals of the workshop are to provide students with the confidence, tools, and strategies to manage their job search on LinkedIn in a focused and effective way. Participants learn how to define and communicate their professional profile clearly, position themselves strategically in the job market, and increase their visibility to potential employers.
Contents:
- Developing a structured and goal-oriented job search strategy on LinkedIn
- Identifying suitable job opportunities and analyzing job postings effectively
- Creating and optimizing a professional LinkedIn profile
Speaker
Julia Barden is a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of large German companies, with a focus on recruiting, especially conducting interviews and assessment centers. She has been self-employed for five years and supports people both in career orientation and in the entire application process. She has also written several books on the subject of job applications.

About the Future Engineering Career (FEC) program:
The Future Engineering Career (FEC) programme at TU Darmstadt supports international students throughout their studies and on their way to starting their careers. FEC informs, networks and prepares international students as future specialists of tomorrow across disciplines.
