[EN] In the Quantum Materials Epitaxy Group, we focus on the growth of semiconductor materials used in quantum devices, both in research and in the rapidly developing field of quantum technology. Our goal is to develop new protocols for producing ultra-stable, low-noise quantum systems.
Possible applications include various types of quantum switching units, such as electron spin qubits or sources for generating entangled photons as flying qubits.

[DT] In der Quantum Materials Epitaxy-Gruppe beschäftigen wir uns mit dem Wachstum von Halbleitermaterialien, die in Quantenbauelementen sowohl in der Forschung als auch in der sich derzeit rasch entwickelnden Quantentechnologie zur Anwendung kommen. Unser Ziel ist es, neue Protokolle zu entwickeln, um ultrastabile, rauscharme Quantensysteme herzustellen.
Mögliche Anwendungen sind unterschiedliche Arten von Quantenschalteinheiten, wie Elektronen-Spin-Qubits oder Quellen zur Erzeugung von verschränkten Photonen als fliegende Qubits.
