Application Skills Overview: Resumes, CVs, Cover Letters & More
When you are just getting started with looking for an internship, working student job, or even full-time position, the process can feel overwhelming. There are so many documents to organize, and so much to prepare.
In this overview seminar, we will go over the most important skills you need to prepare your application documents. You will get a birds-eye view of the resume/CV, the cover letter, as well as other unique aspects of applying in Germany, such as the cover page, the third page, and work certificates.
By the end of this 90-minute session, you’ll be equipped with an overview of the application document development process so you can hit the ground running with your internship and/or job search.
About the Trainer
Jessica Schüller is an expert in career development and international student employability, with experience in higher education, research, and policy across Germany, Europe, and the United States. Having worked in career services and later held a senior role at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Jessica Schüller has helped shape initiatives and research focused on international student success and labor market integration.
