The aim of the workshop is to enable participants to create professional and convincing application documents that clearly highlight their qualifications and strengths. Through practice-oriented exercises, they develop individual application documents that emphasize their fit for the position.

Speaker

Julia Barden is a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of German companies, with a focus on recruiting, especially conducting interviews and assessment centers. She has been self-employed for five years and supports people both in career orientation and in the entire application process. She has also written several books on the subject of job applications.

About the Future Engineering Career (FEC) program:

The Future Engineering Career (FEC) programme at TU Darmstadt supports international students throughout their studies and along their way of starting their careers. FEC informs, networks and prepares international students as future high skilled workers of tomorrow across disciplines.
