About this event:
Starting your career in Germany as an international student can come with many questions: When should I start looking for a job? What is important when applying? How much German do I really need? And what is working life in Germany actually like?
At this digital Next Stop: Job event, you will meet international alumni who studied at the University of Bonn, the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, or the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz and have successfully started their careers in Germany. They will share their personal experiences, talk about their journey from university to working life and give practical insights into their job search and application process.
You will learn more about:
- their experiences searching for a job after graduation
- strategies and tips for applications and job interviews
- the role of German language skills in the workplace
- different career paths and fields of work
- how their studies prepared them for their professional lives
After the joint discussion, you will have the opportunity to meet the alumni in smaller breakout sessions, learn more about their individual career paths and ask your own questions.
The event is aimed specifically at international students and graduates who would like to learn from the experiences of other internationals and gain practical insights into starting a career in Germany.
